This is the kind of exposure we need to get things moving. I feel a lot better about getting in while I did and my decisions to accumulate on the downside.

Key Points from Interview (paraphrased):

Reporter: LAN's Business Model and Marketing Strategy is with respect to revenue generating.
Watson: Concentrate on niche markets such as Hospitals, Military, Pre Press, Education where LAN's technology has an advantage over competition
Reporter: good answer, that's exactly what we are looking for.

Reporter: What separates LAN from others
Watson: When first evaluating the business he gave samples to network engineers to evaluate and they couldn't believe how good the products were. He stated they are the best kept secret in the networking industry but not for long. Ease of use and robustness were advantages over competitors. Navy is using on ships so robust, reliable and easy to use was why they selected LAN"S technology.

Reporter: Talk about Watson and Management's background.
Watson: He said he comes from a financial background and is a turnaround specialist. Acquire 5 companies in the last year and turned all into substantially profitable companies. He is expert at evaluating technology, finding niche markets, focusing on those niche markets where they can compete. LAN is ramping up with hiring Sr. Engineers, Optical Engineers and Sr. Marketing .

Reporter: Stated bulk of audience listening is world wide press, Institutional Investors, buy side analysts and money managers. Why should they be interested.
Watson: Suggested looking at Merril Lynch analysis of independent MIS managers regarding what is important to them in areas of networking for the future. Says LAN's products, which are over-engineered if anything, fall directly into what the MIS managers said was most important to them and LAN"s technology competes very well in that space. LAN is well funded after $10 mil PP, conservative management that focus on bottom while attacking niche markets. There are potential problems in the RF Spectrum based technologies but LAN's wireless is LED based so no problems.

Reporter: What are plans for the future.
Watson: LAN about to announce new products in the next month, the 1st in two years. The have 10 meg wireless now and 100 meg in next 2-3 quarters. Few other acquisitions they are looking at that investors will be really exited about. suggested looking at market cap of competitors and will see that LAN is a bargain.
