drive route 75 over the Sawtooth Range into Ketchum for some spectacular scenery.

Thanks,
Did not quite make it.
Some other friends made the same recommendation...but last week it was out of the question due to weather.

We did take I-15 East of the Sawtooth range from Butte Montana all the way through Idaho and Utah. Attempted to take I-80 across Wyoming but were stopped and told all Interstates in Wy were closed. Then were about to try I-70 when weather channel predicted 2-3 days of heavy snow west of Denver....so we cruised down to check out Brice and Zion National Parks (AWESOME!!!) and Mesquite NV (not much there)....Then hit Vegas and crossed the Hoover Dam...shocking amount of security...when they saw my military base sticker they asked for my military ID and off we went again...But I was happy to see an important landmark and previously identified terrorist target being guarded.
