Re: CapEx *is* a leading indicator, so you won't be seeing the fruits of Intel's 2001 labors until later this year.

For the past 7 quarters, Intel's capex has been way above long term typical - though recognition of those costs only started growing 4 quarters ago and is still too low.

You've seen quite a bit of that investment already. At least, you darn well better have.
