Yes, and I did say in a post yesterday that I hoped the better analysts spoke about it in the right light today, vs. the freaking morons that CNBC had on. Looks like they have. The remaining problem is that if the semi equips gets trashed, Intel and the other semis tend to go along into the dumpster. I still hear people on business shows calling companies like LSI, AMCC, and others "chip equip" stocks. I guess you have to take the flogging on days like today and hope for an updraft later due to some good news in the equips. I did see or hear briefly, though, that somebody expects semi equip spending to be flat for years to come. Have to look back more on that.
