12:35 ET Dow +302, Nasdaq +115, S&P +34.47: [BRIEFING.COM] The indices continue to post healthy gains with both the Dow and
the Nasdaq at session highs. Today's rally is similar to the rally last Thursday when the market rallied on little news. The catalyst there was
that Dell reaffirmed guidance for Q1, which was hardly seems cause for a 9% rally in the Nasdaq. Similarly, today's rally is being fueled by a
strong European market and the Edison (EIX 11.11 +2.19) issue getting settled. Again, not exactly sentiment-altering news. As such, we
view today's rally as more of a technical bounce which should be viewed as more of near term move rather than a fundamental change in
investor sentiment. Nevertheless, today's action is impressive as nearly every sector is up and the dips are being bought....Techs and
financials continue to lead on the upside. NYSE Adv/Dec 2094/817... Nasdaq Adv/Dec 2615/935.
