The longstanding argument "they" have fostered is that "antibiotics don't work against viruses"...

Much like "mask's don't work, so send us your masks"... the lie has a purpose.

Antibiotic resistance in bacteria is judged a greater problem, generally, than viruses... so they've tried to reserve antibiotic use for bacterial infections in part to prevent development of resistance from broader use.

I'd agree that it is a better policy to say what you want and mean without lying about it...

Because, in part, believing your own propaganda has consequences... including closing down entire areas of otherwise very promising research... that might solve problems for viruses... that matter to bacterial infections as well ?

But, of course, "they" are not capable of that... can't accept that truth is a good idea ?

Otherwise, I'll remain highly skeptical of fluoroquinolones... not because they lack efficacy... but because they also don't lack side effects... particularly in the population at greatest risk of coronavirus mortality.

Same thing is apparent in the fluoro based anesthetic surgical gasses... which in the elderly are hugely destructive of mental acuity... not just in the short term... IMO, don't let your elder's be gassed... make the anesthesiologist work for a living... and use opiates.

Should be no surprise to anyone who has ever worked with fluorine chemistry in anything... is roughly on par with the ethics of telling people thimerosol in vaccinations is inert... when the mercury dose obtained in a single injection exceeds public health limits pretty dramatically...

Can't they just stop lying to us ? Biggest health improvement possible... would result if you could find a way to make that happen ?

So, why go that route... when there are other quinolones that will work ? When there are other drugs that don't have that risk ?

If you must have a haolgen... why not make it iodine... and then its more of a commonly deficient nutrient than a brain toxin ?
