Mad1, The old time telegraphers could recognise each other by their "fist" and Gary used that tecnique to make sure you were not having others take your tests for you.
As far as I know Gary did this in software and never patented this, but did publicise it. In my eyes this prior use and publicisation will make it hard for others to get a patent. I suspect the searchers did not look too hard and missed it.
That means that GKI can use it with no fear because if they get sued it will soon come out that GKI had it first and then the security Co patent will vapourize??
