No matter what the unit numbers or share numbers will be, anyone who follows Apple knows they will not get into a price war to the extent that the iPad is unprofitable. It would be uncharacteristic for them to not lead the tablet industry in gross margin. Now if you mean that the profits from iPad will be insignificant next to the iPhone's profits, i might agree with you.
