Jerry,

I think it still might be a smidge early to be buying calls on CY. I think part of the selling maybe for tax losses and that is not done yet but most of it should be through in the nextweek or two.

Ah yes CY has one great specialty TAX LOSS SELLING it doesn't get better than this if you need to offset profits in INTC, MSFT, DELL, CPQ etc.

I've been following the VSYAB's Jan 10's 1999. They closed at 3 1/2 down 1/4 today. At least they give you some time.

Regarding whether or not they'll be around then I bet they will and at a lot higher price than 10!!! Maybe even 10 1/8 <ggggg>.

They are not resting on their laurels inspite of what some people think. They will have a 0.25 micron chip by mid-1998 which will get them their share of the SRAM market. Plus they are still viable in the programmable logic, speciality memory, and system-on-a-chip markets as well.

Last but not least I don't think TJ bought 100,000 SHARES at 11.21 on 10-24-97 because he thinks CY is going out of business. This is not pocket change by anyone's standards and at least he puts his money where his mouth is. I like people that do that!! But I am not ready to give TJ the "market timer of the year award".

Regards, Al
