Why do you care? If he wants to look like a fool, that's his prerogative.

I SORT of agree with you.

However, this incident serves to point up the danger with civilians getting involved in situations like this. There is every possibility these people are going to be used by a foreign government in a [albeit feeble, in this instance] attempt to garner international support.

They don't need to be involved. I think Penn is a brilliant actor. But politically, he is stupid. And today, hopefully, he can see why actors need to stick to the jobs they know how to do...
