A weakened Microsoft--or a broken up MSFT will lead to the end of American dominance in the computer industry. The Asians, Europeans, and even us Canadians would be hoping for it(except MSFT investors like me).

Remember how fast Japanese autos and electronics took off. It is too bad your legal experts and politicians think they just live in a bubble with no outside influences.
I will give this example--If i buy a TV, it will from a Japanese electronics company (price won't be the factor).

This will make all US tech companies weaker and allow some foreigners to start making a move............-start with spreadsheet and wp software in europe from a joint venture of a few euro tech companies. Start a new popular PC brand, get cheap chips from Asia and so on. Believe it will happen very fast if MSFT is weakened siginificantly.

I could write a lot on this but my fingers are too tired. MY posts were unusually long today.
