i buy msft at different intervals all the time. I never even look at the first call or even follow when the earning is, as it is a my long term holding. I bot the stock for my nephew's account. I am managning his account (for free) and he had indicated to me he would
like some at the best possible time. I had his money tied up w.
asnd for which i had sold calls against. never mind. it's a long story. when i saw msft was making a new high it dawned on me that
i never bot him any msft for his account.

then on sat. (today), i find out this info and i am worried not for me
but for my nephew. it's hard when you are doing something for someone else and you have paid almost all time high.

anyway, i uncovered asnd calls at a good profit but asnd was too cheap to sell out of his account so, i bot msft on margin. which is somehting i never do for him. I don't even buy leaps in his account.

I hope this explains why i am feeling this way.
As for myself i don't mind even 25% correction on msft.
