Err, the first part of that post, "put to rest" was meaning I think competition from those two will only make the FLASH market worse for AMD. AMD has good tech in NOR FLASH, but just can't convert it to product or dollars. I think the IPO is not good. By the time they actually try to float, the situation is going to be worse, and the negativity will reflect back on the AMD common. The FLASH market needs consolidation, so why the heck is AMD simply stirring the pot a bit, they should be trying to insure that their good NOR tech finds a reasonable home that can do something with it.
