I think MSFT has already started the business of transaction , diversification, and
pave the way for its continuous growth well into the next century. Just look at what
it has been investing in the past years. We start with Mainframe from IBM, then PC
from INTEL(Hardware) and Microsoft ( Software), then those PCs need to be
linked together and communicate with each other, then we have CSCO, LU, NT
...etc, and now we are coming into the era of e-commerce, i.e application of
telecommunication
with computers and many other smart handheld devices ( driven by CE), that is
why we now have AOL and Yhoo ...etc. What will be the next ?????????????

Seems like broadband is next by the looks of all the cable company investments MSFT recently made.
