Exactly. Universities are money generating centers. An old mimeographed binder with a few pages missing will still impart the same skills.

Even back when I was taking calculus, they made sure to change the textbook every year and ensure all the problems came out of the new book. Textbooks were expensive back then, too.

"For this week's assignment, do 7-1 to 7-5 and 7-10."
