re: Kemble - Getting to #1 market share per se is not necessarily tied to increase in the stock price - historically, just the opposite. The trend in PCs has been obvious for some time - see my post from November 1998... what will count in 2000 is maintaining decent earnings and revenue growth, and the PC market alone will not provide the required growth.

Obvious it is....And, I believe the four $10B areas that were outlined at the shareholders are what we will find coming to fruition this year...DELL does not want to be known as just a PC company...Although I believe this will always be a revenue for them....Servers are where they are headed...Right?
