Why do you need links? Lott and maybe Ashcroft are two of probably several possibilities. Just look for Rep. leaders who have been around 40 years and herald from the south.

I may be stupid, but I am not that dumb to believe a crazed liberal. Are you trying to say Ashcroft is a racist. Prove it.

I am not saying Ashcroft is; I am suggesting he may be. Recently, I posted an article on this thread by a journalist who gave a brief history of Ashcroft's dealings over the past 30 years. There were tie ins with racist organizations much like Lott. However, the connections are not as clear as Lott's.
