johnd, I generally agree with your assessment. MSFT has had a number of 10% or so retreats over the past year, so another would scarcely be unlikely. The market has also staged an extraordinary rebound, and so is vulnerable to some profit-taking. I don't attempt to play these short-term fluctuations. The fundamentals driving the market appear to be intact, and I still see lots of bearishness around [contrary indicator], so I don't see a bear market around the corner. Microsoft's position appears to me to be intact, if not stronger. So my view of Microsoft stock remains unchanged. I don't have specific price targets by specific dates - but yours sounds good to me! ;-) Best regards, Arno
