They are probably Shiite, whom the Wahhabis figure should be killed on sight.

Saudi Arabia has refrained from massacring the population of its Eastern Province. But if al Qaida came to power, they probably would begin killing lots of them, as the Taliban did to the Hezara in Afghanistan. But a difference is, the Hezara had nothing of worth. The Saudi Shia sit on top of the oil fields.

The Arab guest workers were probably Sunni. But 'good', ie Wahabbi, Muslims wouldn't want to live in compounds, but in the virtuous atmosphere of Saudi Arabia.
