My mind is already blown, Hank.

We have been having a private conversation and I have found it very interesting. After thinking about it for a while, I think I may have found the thing that is the basis for your style of investing. There are others here on the CNXT board, who seem to think like you do, so they should respond too.

You discount RISK to an almost unbelievable degree. If I go back over your messages, this is the standout thing.

If investing in stocks was 100% FDIC insured, then I can understand the statements that you make. Clearly you do not believe that a major crash is possible or even likely.

What would you do on the day of a crash?

Imagine. Something really nasty occurs and the bottom literally falls out of the market. Everyone is rushing for the exits. The Internet seizes up solid and no online brokerage houses can accept, let alone process, the public's trades. The phones are jammed and people are rioting in the streets.

Would you calmly hold your positions? I doubt you would be calm. What would you do? Is this simply to bad a scenario to even contemplate?
