Well on a big down day like this traders and some investors generally sell to lock in their profits or for whatever else their reasons might be ,and the program trading won't help either. Heck look at the trades in pretty much any company today,it ain't much different. The excuse for the day was 'interest rate jitters', anything for the market to correct itself which is very healthy in my opinion. Like I said before in my edited post to you earlier,I don't see any fundamental changes in the company from last week and today other than a sharp decline in the market across the board. As for interest rate hike fear,I believe even if the Fed decides to increase the rates on May 19 it won't be more than 25 or 50 basis points which in my opinion is not the end of the world as we have been there and back before.Just my 2 cents worth.
