I said that YOU NEED TO walk a beat. All cops should walk a beat. They get to know the neighborhood, they are alone and less likely to act in a stupid and thuggish manner (mob behavior you know) and might actually be useful to their employers....us.

Racing around the streets at high speed AFTER the fact helps what exactly?

What do you mean you have never used a donut shop? The donut shops and coffee shops are jammed with cops all day long and well into the wee hours of the morning. It seems like some kind of a setup as it is almost too funny for words.
