the more I read about SARS the more I think you had it when you experienced that "mysterious pneumonia" you talked about a week or so ago. Good thing you went to the hospital. One doctor said the difference between mortality rates is not whether the patient is old or young, but more directly correlates with who goes to the hospital in enough time. I guess in asia they are giving some drug for SARS (ribo-something) which is a drug used elsewhere for something else so perfectly safe. Asian docs say this drug is at least partially effective in compating some symptoms but US docs say it has no effect and are not prescribing it.
