<Be honest.> I don't skate around the issue of torture. If you tell me that we went to Iraq to stop torture and then you turn a blind eye to the torture taking place in Iraq then you are a hypocrite. If you say that America can torture people when it sees fit, then I will tell you that torture is never justifiable -- not by us and not by anybody else. You can try to wiggle and twist and turn -- but you cannot escape responsibility for the actions taken in your name by your government with your money and operating under your authority. If you have principles, stand up for them. If you don't, then admit it.
