Weekly Natural Gas Storage Estimate
Injection for Week Ended 9/9/11: 74-84 Bcf
13 September 2011 ¦ 5 pages
citigroupgeo.com

Injection Estimate — We estimate that the Energy Information Administration (EIA)
will report a 74-84 Bcf injection into U.S. underground natural gas storage levels for the
week ended 9/9/2011, compared with a 103 Bcf injection last year, a 66 Bcf injection in
2009, and a 64 Bcf injection in the prior week.

Weather Last Week — Weather last week, based on customer-weighted gas cooling
degree days (CDD's), was 9% warmer than last year, in line with the 10-year average,
and 23% cooler than the prior week this year.

Storage Levels — Thus, we believe natural gas storage levels should increase to
3,104 Bcf, resulting in a 148 Bcf deficit vs. last year and a 60 Bcf deficit vs. the five-
year average.

Weather This Week — Temperatures this week are expected to be below to much
below normal in the Northeast and in the Midwest, and above average in Texas and in
the Northwest.
