So true.

How evangelicals can embrace Trump is something I will never understand.

I had a conversation with a friend who is a Christian who lives by those teachings, and during our conversation I told her "We can't understand how he was elected, we don't know anyone who voted for him."

She looked down, her voice breaking a little, and quietly said, "My family."

That confession clearly hurt her.
