had Zoom drinks w/ some chemical industry types, in Texas and Aruba, and Shanghai.

If I understood correctly, raw chemical producers are producing, to inventory, as input is cheap, but customers hard to find. If so, some of the crude being used are going into storage other than tank farms and tankers on ocean.

The entire daisy chain might be stocking up, gorging, and precluding rapid recovery at all levels.

Would need supercomputer to reckon out the details, but we can save the trouble and surmise that the situation is ugly.
