So, casually googled trope... And I learned a new word by typing poorly... ending up with Tope Definition of tope (Entry 1 of 3) intransitive verb : to drink liquor to excess But, some fun complexity.... being not certain if it derives from the French verb toper... "high five"... or Punjabi top hat... Tamil has it as a "grove of trees" ? Learned a new (to me) word... Find it odd I've never heard it before.
