CC, I think the Europeans will do a TARP for their own banks and cut Greece loose. The next step is how they deal with the other PIIGSs.

I would not want to be an average Greek today. However, that said, I have not seen anything about a subsequent disaster in Iceland. I would love an informed report on how their financial blowup affected the average citizen.

I think more importantly to our interests is what would happen to the German economy if their currency doubled. The Germans have benefitted from the depressed Euro big time.
