CJ, The important point is March or April. AMD is slated to have A4s running at 1.5-1.6GHz in that time frame. How fast are those mobile P4s supposed to be? About the same, you say? Considering that when you have a P4 and a XP at the same clockrate, the P4 gets slaughtered in performance... Compaq has learned how to play ball. If they snub an Intel offering now, they could get the sh!tty end of the stick later with regard to deliveries, etc. They can't afford to be on the outs with the manufacturer that has all the infrastructure support, you know the rest of the mantra. Besides, you know that Intel catches up sooner or later in performance, i.e., where they're not already in front. Tony
