Never heard of a preventive MRI, I think I have had 4 the first was because I had a recurring eye infection, my eye Doc said I might have a brain tumour, scared the crap out of me. the guy operating the MRI was pissed he didn't find any tumour. One for a bad shoulder, two for when my kidneys almost failed. If I added up all the medical procedures and hospital stays and I had no free health care I would be poor as a church mouse
