Outflows?.... or Outflows minus Inflows? I'll bet there are people who still put their 401K money into funds and have for years and won't be swayed from doing that no matter what happens to the market. What exactly would it take to make you convinced that investors have thrown the towel in? Outflows of 50%, 40%, 30%, 20%? You know that most of the big bear markets ended on LOW volume? NOT high volume.......... low. And I'll bet they end with the vix LOW not high........... when the volatility calms down and we can hear a pin drop on the exchange floor............ either that or we just go sideways and build a long long long long base.
