The trial, now in its 15th week, could be due for a lengthy recess next month.

In a private meeting with lawyers, the judge indicated he will call a break to allow Microsoft's lead outside attorney to keep his vacation plans and to permit Boies to attend another previously scheduled trial, expected to last two to three weeks.

This is GREAT NEWS for those wanting to capitalize on stock split and earnings run-up. Unlike the Clinton trial, a delay here is great so that the focus will remain on how well MSFT is doing and not how they are screwing up this trial. Starting to like Boies--maybe his trial will last longer than the 2 weeks indicated. There is nothing wrong with being a short term investor, you always have to opportunity to reduce your exposure once it has a great run. I am expecting something like the December/January run-up and no bad news is going to be flashed on CNBC. About time reporter Hampton Pearson gets a break from covering this trial.
This should also give MSFT time to re-group from the not so great defense up until now.
Looks like we won't see a decision for a long time--Maybe later than June or july.
