ALAMEDA, Calif. (Dow Jones)--Wind River Systems Inc. (WIND) unveiled its
Scalable Enhanced Networking Stack, or SENS, for its Tornado development
environment.
In a press release Monday, Wind River said SENS enables developers to create
data communications and telecommunications products built on one common
embedded system.
The new stack provides customers with a framework enabling routing and
faster integration while remaining open, extensible and customizable across a
variety of networking products, the company said.
Wind River said SENS is available as a free component upgrade to Tornado
1.0.1 maintenance customers.
Wind River provides integrated software development tools.
