In any case Gore opened the whole can of worms of having the election decided in the courts by fileing suit in the first place. Other candidates, including Nixon in his run against Kennedy, could have tried to have the decision changed by the courts but did not.

Gore had no choice. The FLA electoral system was flawed and corrupted. If I had been him, I would have done much more. The GOP should not have been allowed to get away with the chicanery.
