Bob and all, my 2 cents on why the stock to holding up.....

First, AOL is the cat with nine lives. The techs decided, except the network section, decided to go up today. DOW also are going strong. With the overall market sentiments, the bad news became not so bad on this euphoric day.

Second, the big boys are not in yet. As I have previously posted, there is very thin float. AOL's volume is relatively heavy at over a million now but not remotely at the level that big programs can generate, probably due to trading curb in place now.

The skeptic Ramsey still believes that a few big clients are telling the likes of Lehman to do whatever they can to keep AOL high while they liquidate. Time will tell whether this theory holds any water.
