About Novonyx ... it's a good deal for Novell, and a better deal for Netscape. ... I don't know how the financial details will get sorted out, but there will be more Novell based Servers because of this joint venture ... and more opportunities to sell related products too! I don't believe that Novell gave up anything significant to make the Novonyx deal with Netscape ... except a few people and some (probably small amount of) cash. Until the Novonyx deal ... every Netscape Webserver was an automatic MSFT NT Server sale ... now it's the customer's choice ... and probably soon, it will be in the customer's and Netscape's best interest to choose IntraNetware ... assuming that Novell can get it's act together on Marketing issues soon. About the sale of stock by Glenn Ricart ... I don't know why he did it, but I wish he didn't ... I think that the executives should be told by Eric Schmidt to start acting like they believe the Novell company is recovering ... lots more of us would believe it's true if they actually 'walked the talk' too!
