I have said 15X worse than the flu. It’s just not clear that hiding from it makes any difference. Yes many nursing home patients can make it for years in a debilitated state. In my father’s case he likely had less than one year of life and that made it easier for me. 11 to 13 years seems exaggerated especially if you consider that in Maryland 65% of the people who died were in a nursing home. My experience is the average life in a nursing home is 2 to 3 years I wonder if this 11 to 13 years included other countries than the USA. I for one doubt there will be a vaccine before next year. This is a terrible thing China unleashed on the world. It could’ve been worse. Also just because it is very bad doesn’t mean it won’t die out in the next three months
