It's exactly the point.. Gil stated that a market crash now would partially vindicate EG... I countered that vindication would entail dropping substantially below her sell point in the summer, which I can't see happening in my wildest nightmares...

IF, and it's a big IF, the market drops, it will be a mild setback (5% possible, 10% max)and probably won't go below 6000. However, that is the DOW, and certain stocks won't suffer nearly as badly (small caps have been underperforming lately, so their valuations aren't nearly as high). Having said that, I don't think we're near a point for the market to crash, and don't forsee that happening until interest rates start climbing substantially, or corporate profits tumble. Neither of which is on the horizon.

Put me down for NO Crash, slight possibility for a correction and immediate recovery.
