Del, I think you were absolutely right in not allowing your wife to smoke in the house with a small child who had a heart defect. I wonder if some smokers feel so much in the minority now that they have developed some sort of persecution complex. Their arguments don't even made common sense.

It is too bad your wife didn't simply smoke outside. Building her a well-ventilated patio room seems very fair to me.
