I think many customers are going through the last round of updates before abandoning the platform.

Alomex,

I have not owned a computer made by Apple since my Apple II+ well over a decade ago. Next month, I intend to purchase an iMac for my daughter going to college. My wife wanted one too, mainly because she has been hearing so much good stuff about the iMac from others not in the Apple camp right now (Like me, her work environment is Wintel). I will get her some sort of G3 desktop. Finally, I was patiently waiting for Copland then for Rhapsody so that I could set up virtual PC windows in my system for my Wintel programs and files. I've decided now that the computers are fast enough that emulation will meet my needs. So, I will be getting a G3/G4 also.

I admit that I am Apple literate, Alomex. But does that really sound to you like a 'last gasp'. It is certainly not what I would term an 'update'.

Good investing to you,

Sam
