simple accounting, defer expenses, recognize cash, sell assets or receivables forward, expense ballon eventually catches up. the longer it takes to collect a/r the risk increases of a problem with delivery, not necessarily on the customer's side a delivery problem means no cash now, it might be difficult to borrow cash, even from your mother, if you are already in default ynot :)
