Loral to issue 16 million new shares and other stuff.

Lee and everyone:

Loral announced this morning that they will be issuing 16 million additional share offering. So much for Angelo's bit about Orbi diluting the hell out of shareholder value.BTW Loral's and Orbi's dilution is pretty much the same %.

And as for the impending calamity of the meteoroid showers is mainly based on some graduate kid prediction I think. If there is any hit and resulting any possible damage will be felt by the GEO satellites more than the LEOs if any damage were to occur. Besides they can always turn the satellites to such a position where the solar panels (which is most vulnerable) will face the opposite direction from the meteoroids' path. According to some experts this possible threat is very marginal at best and nothing too much to be concerned with but still a concern I must admit, the probability of ORBI's satellites getting hit are very minimal in my opinion.Just my 2 cents worth.

PS:I believe meteoroids are minute particles of meteors and not big
chunck of meteor rocks.
