I would agree on the power consumption advantage that CAP has; but not necessarily the cost advantage. Anecodotally, we have come to somewhat of an acceptance of cost advantages on CAP over DMT based on small quantity buys, as in the trials. IF it were true that CAP were to have significant power and cost advantages, while only minimally better in performance, it would be hard to explain why the JPC would go with Alcatel for a large procurement.

The JPC awarded Alcatel the contract for DMT based on...cost, performance and power?
