Dear Gene: If USRX such a great co. w/great mgmt. how did they get fooled by COMS. Actually they are trying to become a supplier to the digital comm. industry and that will be the industry for the next five years as US comm. switches from analog to digital. The problem is that the analysts don't know where to position themselves. As for great cos. holding up what would you say about the recent and precipitous drop of INTC.? This is probably the best buying opportunity one will have to revisit something they missed earlier. Who knows more about the digital comm. infrastructure than CSCO COMS BAY etc.. The problem is picking the guy that is going to be around. The RBOC's might still be the safest place if you are afraid that the hardware guys are too risky otherwise this train is stopped for a while and it is a chance to hop on. When guys like Gates and McCaw are betting billions on digital bandwidth one can be sure that accomodating digital com. with hardware to make it work is going to be the place to be. All aboard!
