Cheney-Bush have the power to lower energy prices. You bet they do. They are surrounded by every CEO in the energy business all of whom would do anything for them, plus plenty of high level Saudi contacts. Cheney-Bush promised us in 2000 they would "jawbone" OPEC to lower prices. Not only didn't they, they turned a blind eye to the gouging and encouraged it. They're doing it again starting in this election cycle. Bottomline, Cheney-Bush love high energy prices. More money for themselves and their contributors.
