Long-bond trading -22 ticks. However, stock traders attempting to put a positive spin on the figures, betting that these numbers serve to offset disinflationary fears. Nevertheless, S&P futures continue to trade well below fair value, with the Dow indicated to open about 70 pts lower at the open. Lighter equities due to continued weaknesss in Asia, after Singapore fell another 7.43%, Hong Kong -3.9%, S. Korea -2.3%. As I write, long-bond recovering, currently trading -11 ticks.
