Okay, after some reading on the Mylex web-site I see that they have a very good, state-of-the-art, fiber channel-AL controller. I stand corrected and am interested in learning more. How about this: mylex.com Essentially, Mylex is taking advantage of Intel's next generation motherboard where, apparently, Adaptec is not: exchange2000.com I don't understand all of the ramifications, but it (Mylex) sure gets your attention here. It's like Adaptec doesn't have their finger on the pulse, while Mlyex is completely in step. Greg
