No. But I believe it's all covered in the three books I cited. There are footnotes within each. If there was any heroism by JFK, it occurred after he unnecessarily put his crew in danger. I have no doubt the Kennedy PR machine bought off many of the survivors, but still the truth got out. This was all after his affair with the East German spy. Sounds like Slick did have a mentor after all. Btw, read pages 52 to 84 in the book, A Question of Character, A Life of John F. Kennedy, by Thomas Reeves. Kennedy used to joke that when he was in the water, trying to get his crew on land, he knew he would either be given a medal or court-martialed, depending upon how his superiors interpreted the sequence of events that happened to him.
