I continue to think that criticizing the Wa Po for something Bush himself has said is silly - and saying they were both calling the Iraqis freedom fighters! Well, I'm not sure silly even goes far enough for that one.(and I'd be happy to drag in more quotes from Mr. Bush calling the insurgents "insurgents" if you would like them- I just took the first speech to hand). I can't think of a more polite word for it- though I can think of some less polite ones. I continue to have you on ignore (thank you for the suggestion) but as I tell people repeatedly, though with little success at getting the point across, I don't use it to avoid reading posts, I use it to block PM's.

I did not resort to name calling- I did not call you a name. I said the idea in your post was silly, and it is, and continues to be.

"Personal attacks here will get you banned."

Difficult to see how saying that the use of "insurgent" as synonymous with "freedom fighter" is silly, when Mr. Bush himself uses the term "insurgent", is a personal attack, or even less than civil. I think Mr. Bush would be aghast at the idea that he was calling the Iraqis freedom fighters, don't you? Even once- in that particular speech. What a gaffe that would be.
